Check a year of proposed board dates against your calendar

A Thai board director and newspaper columnist had Grok Bot find a company secretary's email asking for next year's board meeting availability, check every proposed slot against his calendar and draft the reply.

What they did

After a LINE message told him the email had arrived, he gave Grok Bot one instruction: find the email from that company, check whether he was free in each requested slot, and draft a reply. The agent located the email itself, counted 15 proposed slots, opened his calendar and checked each one. He reviewed the draft before sending.

How it went

The poster says Only one of the 15 proposed slots clashed, and a ready-to-send reply was done much faster than he could have managed by hand.

Good to know

This is one person's account in an opinion column. He notes that early results were often off target, and he keeps approval over anything sent out under his name.

A prompt to try

Find the email from <organization name> asking for my availability for <meeting series>. Check each proposed date and time against my calendar, list which ones clash and why, then draft a short reply giving my availability. Do not send it; leave it as a draft for me to review.
