Its digital and AI director said the tool handled the complex context well and cost noticeably less than some pricier models; this was a test, and no results figures were shared.

At Qwen Conference Thailand 2026, SCG Chemicals' enterprise digital and AI director said the company, which uses several cloud providers and Western models heavily, brought in Qwen and QwenWork to test data analytics and supply chain demand and supply analysis. He also said more than 5,000 SCGC staff use AI tools in daily work.
How it went
The maker says Qwen handled the detailed logic of analysis with complex context on par with pricier models, at noticeably better cost efficiency, according to TechTalkThai's report of his remarks.
Good to know
This was a test described on stage at the vendor's own conference, with no accuracy, time or business figures. It is not clear which parts used QwenWork rather than the Qwen models directly.
