Edit a short promo video in Descript from narration and style references

Set up crawl monitoring for client sites and check your calendar
The CEO of SLIDEFACTORY, a Portland interactive agency, spent about a day giving OpenAI dots real agency work. It found calendar clashes, answered a colleague in Slack and crawled two client websites, but several connections failed.

Watch product releases daily and flag what is worth writing about

Get a daily action list from email, calendar and shared files
A newsletter writer asked OpenAI dots to get him ready for the next day. It combined his calendar, unanswered emails, promises he had made and files he was tagged in into one to-do list, then set itself up to repeat it every morning.

Catch a forgotten invoice and send it after approval
In its dots launch post, OpenAI says an early tester's dot noticed he had forgotten to invoice a publication, prepared the invoice, and sent it only after he approved. OpenAI gives no further detail or figures.

Reply to email in your voice, with send approval
A newsletter reviewer connected calendar, docs and drive and asked their Dot to answer a simple email. The reply sounded like them but went out before they could read it, so they then told the Dot to show all outgoing messages first.

Prepare meeting briefs and triage the inbox
In a two-day, 10-task business test, a reviewer scored Dots 9/10 on meeting prep, but a promised visual deliverable was unfinished. Inbox triage scored 7.5/10: priorities were sensible, but it treated an already-resolved issue as still open.

Draft a weekly business brief and post-meeting follow-ups
In the same test, a weekly business brief scored 8.6/10 (it came as plain text until a PDF was requested). The post-meeting follow-up email scored lowest, at 7/10: it invented no commitments but was not ready to send and needed two attempts.
