The reply sounded like them but went out before they could read it, so they then told the Dot to show all outgoing messages first. They then asked it to handle a simple email. ## How it went Tested by the press The dot wrote a short reply that sounded like the writer and was perfectly acceptable, but sent it before they had a chance to read it. They told the dot that from then on they want to see outgoing messages before they go. ## Good to know This is one day of use. The lesson the writer draws is to set approval rules for sending up front; whether the dot kept to the new rule over time was not yet tested. ## A prompt to try Read the latest email from and draft a reply in my usual tone, keeping it under sentences. Do not send anything.
